Hi Justin, Please consider NMU-ing john, since there has been no maintainer response to your emails with patches for 375850 and 403855 from December, 2.5 months ago. It would be very useful to have this package in Etch (I use it on my cluster to test that my users have reasonable passwords), especially since it was already present in Sarge. I note that the primary maintainer (G. Pastore) is listed at http://wiki.debian.org/LowThresholdNmu .
If you are not currently a DD (I am sorry not to know; I find it hard to keep track of who has gotten through NM yet), tell me where to find your .dsc et al for the NMU, and I will sponsor the upload. best regards, -- Kevin B.
