The rules script defines different ETC dirs for the build step and the install step, so the scripts are filtered to point to /etc/wmii-3.5, while the relevant files are installed to /etc/X11/wmii-3.5.

Also, there is no need to install the libixp which comes packaged with this snap. Further, the Makefile provided upstream does not install the headers for libixp, though it installs the lib, which is not acceptable. It would be best, during the install step, to set the DIRS make variable to: cmd rc man
