In the last few days, I found my gtk/gnome apps cannot display the menus in Chinese correctly. They used to be correct before and I didn't change anything, except I regularly update with apt-get dist-upgrade.
I can verify that these fonts exist with "xlsfonts". Below is error message found in ".xsession-errors": ----8<---- The font "-adobe-times-medium-r-normal--16-*-*-*-*-*-*, -default-song-medium-r-normal--16-*-*-*-*-*-*-*, *-r-*" does not support all the required character sets for the current locale "zh_CN" (Missing character set "ISO8859-1") (Missing character set "GBK-0") ----8<---- Any comments and suggestions are welcome! -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
