Hello all, I'd like to propose the end of life for the availability of the Debian 7.1a AMIs in all Regions. These 7.1a AMIs have been superseded for some time by newer Debian releases (following the switch to Cloud-Init).
With the release today of 7.4 and corresponding EC2 AMIs, I am declaring 7.1a and 7.3 AMIs deprecated, and am scheduling them for being removed from service after Friday 28 February 2014 - AMIs will be deleted a short time after that. If you have any Launch Configurations (LCs) for AutoScale or CloudFormation templates, please update them to use the newer AMIs (after some testing), or clone the existing older AMIs into your own AWS account.
