We very much want to support ppc64el. I haven't tried running OpenStack on Debian on such arch myself, though I really would like to. I know that there's at least some Ubuntu deployments at least, which potentially would like to run the Debian official OpenStack image. It was on my todo from the last sprint to get in touch with a university that is running OpenStack on ppc64el that Luca told me about. I unfortunately failed to get in touch with them. Maybe we should resume that, so we could test the image. So by all means, yes, we do want ppc64el images, at least for OpenStack. Cheers, Thomas Goirand (zigo)
