That's a pretty surprising resolution of a bug asking to be able to
use "rename" more easily.

The removal happened in util-linux (2.35.2-5) on 25 Jun 2020, so it's
already in stable (bullseye) which has 2.36.1-8. Not sure if fixing
this now will unbreak any harm that has already been done, given that
the bullseye release was already half a year ago.
