I really don't know how many people is subscribed to this list, but I am subscribed now and feel the need to contribute.
One of the things I always hated in windows (back to the win3.1 times) was that I had to type "win" to enter the gui. I always thought that was a subliminal message, or sort of. Now, with debian, I can have a good subliminal message: if I use debian, I use free,open-source software. This software is best use together with the source, and, yes, if you want to compile a package using the source, you have to type in that "debian/rules" !!! :)))) Bye Vincenzo -- First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.
