The solution is actually to make bts (the command in devscripts) slightly more powerful, which I have done with the patch for #433169. If you apply that patch, you can then do the following: bts submitter $(bts select submitter:[EMAIL PROTECTED]) [EMAIL PROTECTED]; or similar bouts of madness.
