     - drops the numpy.trapz call that broke the test suite with NumPy 2.4
       (Closes: #1131048).
   * d/rules, d/tests/control: run the library test suite only
     (--ignore=test/asammdf/gui), matching upstream's own cibuildwheel and
     tox "libtests" configuration.  The Qt GUI tests are slow and unreliable
     headless and were the remaining cause of the FTBFS / autopkgtest
     regression.
   * d/patches: add cmake-version-range.patch to build with CMake >= 4.2
     (FTBFS with the CMake 4.3 in unstable).
   * d/patches: add cmake-system-lz4-zstd.patch - upstream now also wants
     system lz4 and zstd with WITH_SYSTEM_DEFLATE, but asks CMake for a
     package named "libzstd" and links the bare "lz4_shared" /
     "libzstd_shared" targets that only the vendored copies define.  Use the
     names the installed libraries really export (LZ4::lz4_shared,
     zstd::libzstd_shared).  Thanks to Stuart Prescott for spotting this.
   * d/patches: add relax-chardet.patch - upstream now hard-imports chardet
     and pins >= 7.0.0 while Debian has 5.2 (compatible detect() API).
   * d/patches/cmake.patch: refresh; add DEP-3 Last-Update.
   * d/control: build-depend on liblz4-dev, libzstd-dev, python3-chardet
     and python3-zstd for the above.
   * d/control: bump debhelper compat to 14.
   * d/control: add dh-sequence-single-binary (explicit under compat 14).
   * d/watch: convert to version 5.
   * d/gbp.conf: add for the Python Team git-buildpackage workflow.
   * d/upstream/metadata: fix Bug-Submit URL, add Documentation.
   * d/asammdf.1: rewrite the hand-written manpage (fix the broken .TH
     title, document --reset).
   * d/control: explicitly depend on python3-packaging; it is imported
     unconditionally by the dependencies dialog and is a member of
     upstream's "gui" extra, but was only present transitively via
     python3-numexpr.
