Maybe the right way to do this is ordering the items to fill in a way that "naive" users have to type in the things we cannot figure out the first. Ex: Interface: [Choose one ] IP Address: ___.___.___.___ [ ] Auto (DHCP, Bootp, ...) Gateway: ___.___.___.___ Mask: ___.___.___.___ Class A [ ], B [ ], C [ ] ... We can fill automagically some of these values. If a user types in "192.168.1.15" as IP, and the interface is eth*, we can figure out that the gateway will be 192.168.1.1, and class C (255.255.255.0). The user will be able to modify those values as he/she is going through the options, if they are wrong. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
