Hi,
(I think the confirmation request for list subscription is buggy, I thought I actually was subscribed to this list since yesterday...) Why I sent the bug report to this list ? Because in the french version of the developer reference (/usr/share/doc/developers-reference), it is written: "Supposons que personne ne travaille sur le paquet que vous visez, vous devez alors soumettre un rapport de bogue (voir Section 10.2, `Ouvrir un rapport de bogue') sur le pseudo-paquet `wnpp' et envoyer une copie à <debian-devel@lists.debian.org>." ...which means : "Let's say nobody's working on the package you intend to work on, you will then have to fill a bug report (see Section 10.2 "Opening a bug report") about the pseudo-package 'wnpp' and send a copy to <debian-devel@lists.debian.org>." I am a new maintainer (since last saturday). I am trying to comply the best I can with the standards and procedures. So, if sending the bug report to the list is wrong, maybe some documentation need to be updated ? Wolfgang
