That still won't fix the problem. The issue is that Debian's policy mandates that the libreiserfs.so symlink should be in the -dev package, not the main lib package. This means that parted's dlopen of the .so fails when the -dev package is not installed ... parted should really be dlopen()ing libreiserfs-0.3.so.0 rather than libreiserfs.so ...
