However it will lock the program at /var/lock/. When the user selects "ok" it will bail out with : Cannot write file /var/lib/rcconf/services: Permission denied at /usr/bin/rcconf line 762. This could be easily be prevented by checking if the user can make the changes (for example, he = root) before running rcconf or by cleaning up the lock files when expected errors occur (user is not root and cannot write a file). This is not an important bug, since the user himself can remove the file.
