What's wrong with aptitude's documentation? The User's Manual is conveniently located in the Help Menu, right there at the top of the screen for easy access. While dselect forces the newbie to see the help screen by default at the start of package selection, it seems to need to do this more because it's so unintuititive. Not that dselect is bad by any means (I often recommend using it, especially to build the sources list) but for general everyday use, aptitude is gnenerally much better. - David Nusinow
