Unless there is an arch-specific bug in that version. The code for architecture tags in the BTS is available if I'm not mistaken.
I'll add "rc-s390" etc tags or similar to bugs.d.o the day sarge is released, presuming this goes ahead. No complicated patching whatsoever needed.
