Yes.  As I said, it was an accidental *error* and not deliberate action due
to me not knowing any better (in which case I would certainly recall the
embarassing details :( ).

I believe in this particular case, many believe it is wrong to have CVS dirs
on distribution tarballs, and the warning also serves to remind them to talk
to upstream about it.
