The problemes was at first encounted when changing this localhost entry. It is absolutely irrelevant if the problemes are exactely specified or not. The point is that localhost.localdomain MAKES problemes. Just do what you whant with it. I do not whant to fight. I know how to edit /etc/hosts. But why the hell should there be so many traps for users who do not know.
