Don't be ridiculous. Ubuntu explicitly acknowledge that they build on Debian - see http://www.ubuntulinux.org/ubuntu/relationship - and Debian positively encourages derivative distributions - so where's the harm? Can we stop this time-wasting flame war already, please? Dave
