Dear Martin, Thanks for pointing this problem out to me. I am new at packaging and made several similar errors in other packages as well at first. I have followed your advice and closed down all the old packages and opened a new one called libsvm. I have also renamed libsvm0-dev to libsvm-dev. Thanks for the info!
