I am running a testing/unstable system myself, but I would not recommend a beginner user to use anything but stable. Things do go wrong in testing and I would not expect a beginner to deal with things like the x.org transition. So when comparing distributions I would always compare stable releases. I don't think it makes sense to compare development versions since they are not intended for end users. Matthias -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
