Actually, this turned out to be wrong.  In fact, when I used
the.real.host, it was my own relayhost, not the host with the foobar.com
virtual domain.  I tried with "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"@foobars.real.server
and foobars.real.server just bounced it, saying it didn't know who
[EMAIL PROTECTED] was.  Of course, this is probably because
[EMAIL PROTECTED] is not a system account.
