Callweaver was originally a fork from asterisk 1.2. Now the roadmaps of the two projects become to be different, callweaver don't have many of the new features in asterisk 1.4, and asterisk don't have some things and concepts in callweaver, so, i think that the right thing will be to have both packages as they are different projects with the same roots.
