I guess that Javier wrote this without being aware of
http://wiki.debian.org/AccountHandlingInMaintainerScripts , but now I
stronly suggest to merge both documents.
And yes, it is a nightmare to maintain code like Javier suggested. But
the only alternative would be to make adduser Priority: required.
Otherwise there is no certainty that adduser is installed at package
purge time.
