I offered to update the lintian patch I submitted years ago for checking for a proper Homepage psuedo-field to a check for the new Homepage field, Russ said policy/devref should be updated first. Personally, I think updating everything at the same time is the right order. Anyways, I'll work on the patch so it is ready for when lintian will accept it. Also: I think a debtags-like system (stored/maintained separately to the packages and merged into the Sources/Packages files behind the scenes) is more appropriate for homepages, since they can change independently from a package and also it doesn't take much skill to add them, so an army of users could add homepages to all those packages that the maintainer won't be uploading just to add a homepage or where the maintainer won't bother to add one. -- bye, pabs http://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
