You should not really allow your lack of imagination to limit what
computer systems can handle. :)

Here at the University of Oslo, the user database is probably 25 years
old, and some users have private groups as their primary group while
others have shared groups.  The origin of these different types of
users are partly historic and partly because different departments and
institutes have different ways of working and corresponding different
ways of setting up users. :)

I suspect it will stay like this for 25 more years, and the computer
systems introduced into the university will just have to cope with
it. :)
