there's a few packages that provide the same or similar kind of functionality, like sysv-rc-conf, bum, and rcconf. but none of these are anything remotely "standard" in terms of what people would be used to seeing, they'd have to find the package names and install them and learn how to use them, etc (and it may be that even with said utilities that they still have to run insserv, d'oh)... sean -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-devel-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
