I think override_dh_auto_{build,install,clean} in debian/rules could help. For example: override_dh_auto_build: cd server && ... # build server $(MAKE) ... # build in top dir -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-devel-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
