If it was available I would use it but wouldn't be switching cgroups
on or would be switching them off even if I hadn't bothered to
compile them out of the kernel out of principle and to catch any
nonsense that *required* them because some daemon writer has now decided
they don't need to bother with tracking their own children anymore.

When I used OpenRC on Alpine Linux I found it far nicer to work with
than any of systemd, upstart or syv-rc. The only one I find nicer to
work with is OpenBSD's.
