Managing a service like this takes a lot of energy and time. GSOC would allow me to work on it full time, but I could never find the time to manage it outside of that. I'd be willing to give tips to anyone who would want to pick it up, or give ideas if you decide to start fresh. I'd even be willing to mentor a GSOC project on it.
