While I appreciate the very impactful contributions of both Linus Torvalds or Richard Stallman, in both case outwheighing by far what I'll ever be able to produce, to the Free Software world, this can't be accepted as an excuse for their behaviour. Whatever one did, whoever one is, no one is nor should be essential to any community, otherwise to me this community has a great problem. Some day in a future I wish them far, Linus Torvalds or Richard Stallman will eventually die. The Linux Foundation or the FSF will anyway outlive them. As far as I'm concerned, I would rather have a hundred nice guys who each one does 5% of RMS work in, than having 5 RMS in.
