HQC is one of the selected algorithms from the NIST's Post-Quantum Cryptography Standardization Project. I'm hoping this package will provide a shared library: https://gitlab.com/pqc-hqc/hqc/-/work_items/28 But even if they won't, there could be some value in packaging the reference implementation anyway. Possibly the Debian source package name should be 'pqc-hqc' instead of just 'hqc', but I haven't started on this yet so wanted to create an ITP bug for further discussion and coordination. /Simon
