I guess we can live with that.
*grin* provocative, apparently. That's the second time I've been misunderstood, so I'll explain.. The initial post was suggesting (I'm sorry, I don't have the exact words) that somehow a linuxconf front-end was the correct solution to the fact that Linux email is hard to manage because sendmail.cf is hard to configure. I was suggesting that the correct answer to *that* problem was to change MTAs. To summarise *my* opinion: 1) I don't think we should stop supporting sendmail. 2) I don't think we should discourage a linux-conf front-end to sendmail. 3) I do, however, both personally and professionally recommend exim over sendmail for work involving many email addresses at many domains. 4) I do recognise that not everyone will agree ;-) Jules /----------------+-------------------------------+---------------------\ | Jelibean aka | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | 6 Evelyn Rd | | Jules aka | | Richmond, Surrey | | Julian Bean | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | TW9 2TF *UK* | +----------------+-------------------------------+---------------------+ | War doesn't demonstrate who's right... just who's left. | | When privacy is outlawed... only the outlaws have privacy. | \----------------------------------------------------------------------/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
