     No, it isn't, unless we want to abandon our promise of
upgradeability, rather than installing new, for any Debian system.
AFAIK, we have lost the capability of upgrading from a.out to elf.
Hopefully we won't lose the capability of upgrading from pre-hamm
systems.  There are still a lot of bo and rex production systems out
there.
