The Debian dictionary is just a skeleton right now, that has not been filled in with any defintions. I have done some work towards a new version of the dictionary that actually has some defintions in it, see http://kitenet.net/~joey/dict/dict.html It still needs a lot of fleshing out, if you have any words you'd like to see in it, tell me. -- see shy jo
