apt-cache rdepends policykit-1-gnome
policykit-1-gnome
Reverse Depends:
cpupower-gui
|timekpr-next
|thunar
|riseup-vpn
pcmanfm
|nm-connection-editor
|network-manager-applet

AIUI This will leave XFCE desktop environment
with no authentication agent.
thunar
Recommends: policykit-1-gnome | polkit-1-auth-agent

* Peter Blackman <[email protected]> [2025-07-16 14:18]:
I suggest that the release notes recommend Xfce4 users
use mate-polkit for now (xfce-polkit was blocked by the freeze)
This should be fixed in the package as discussed in #1090384. Release
notes is not the place to work around package bugs that could just be
fixed. Thus closing.
Cheers
Jochen
