Package: dselect
Version: 1.10.18
Severity: normal
Some packages seem to be missing from the list in dselect -- but somehow
they appear in aptitude. I was trying to find freenet and
freenet-unstable and I thought somehow they had been removed, because
they would not appear in dselect, but when I went to aptitude, they
appeared, and I was able to install them. Once installed, they appeared
in dselect's list. However, other packages seem to be missing from the
list as well. All of the jdk1.1 packages have the same problem. They
will not be listed until I install them with aptitude. I can also
install things with apt-get sucessfully.
I am updating the package list in dselect before I start every time, so
it should be up-to-date, but I still have this problem.
