Automatic patches (debian/patches/debian-changes-<version>) generated when using 3.0 (quilt) source packages should contain an autogenerated DEP-3 compliant header. This would facilitate usage of this format and contribute to its widespread adoption. http://dep.debian.net/deps/dep3/ The changelog entry should be extracted to Description:. Bug closures should result in Bug-Debian: fields. Author field should point to the maintainer listed in the changelog entry. Other fields could be added as templates in comments.
