"ligne blanche elle doit contenir un seul «\.\ » avant cet espace." ... but "avant" means "before", while the English version (rightly) says that in empy lines of the long description, there will be "a '.' _following_ the preceding space". So correct translation is: "ligne blanche elle doit contenir un seul «\.\ » après cet espace." I noticed the bug here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dpkg/+bug/306250 and personally verified it. Pietro Battiston
