Package: dpkg At the moment, dpkg writes its actitivity to file /var/log/dpkg.log (path can be changed with --log option), which seems to be the only option.
"man dpkg" does not say anything about syslog logging option. Is it possible to add a feature to be able to send events to syslog (rsyslog) process instead writing to file? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [email protected]
