I was just upgrading one of my machines and I had dpkg fail. It was installing locales when it exited with an error code. It gave no message and left files in the updates directory.
This is the first time I have seen or heard of such behaviour from dpkg, is there a possibility that the newer version have some sort of glitch? (libc6? gcc?)
