Problem with dpkg?

I'm trying to install tkdesk+1.0b4-3

I've installed tcl7.6 and tk4.2

When I try and install tkdesk, dpkg gives me the error that

tcl7.6 and tk4.2 are not installed.

I've never had this problem before using dpkg.

Do you have any suggestions?
