Hi! In order to work on deterministic (and thus reproducible builds) [1], I started by refactoring the dpkg-deb `do_build()` function (which was dubbed “Overly complex”) into something I could understand.
The process lead me to discover two minor issues after clearing up the code path and responsabilities about file descriptors.
