Okay.. Tux, sitting on a large book, with a lamp in his hands. The Aladdins lamp, as in some versions of the debian logo I believe. From the mouth of the lamp comes the Debian swirl, looming over Tux. Tux looks at the swirl, in silence and bewilderment. A bit heavy on the symbolism, perhaps, but what do you think? Other ideas?
