This is very strange. I updated <URL:http://bugs.skolelinux.no/show_bug.cgi?id=1267> with the information I got so far. Please see if the file /usr/share/debian-edu-artwork/update-artwork exist and is executable in the chroot when the installation fail. If both are true, check if /bin/sh exist and is executable in the chroot. The package got the file and it is executable, and I am completely unable to understand how this could fail on working hardware. Are you sure the hardware is OK?
