Dear list, I started creating additional geocode files to be used with geographical information systems such as Marble (KDE Desktop), Earth3D, Qgis, or GoogleEarth (TM).
Please have a look at http://skolelinux.no/testskoler/map/skolelinux-schools.kml http://skolelinux.no/testskoler/map/skolelinux-schools.gpx The KML file works with GoogleEarth (TM), but recent versions of Marble seem not yet to implement their import. As for GPX some special characters seem to interfer - anyway QGis reads only single lines as it occurs to me. Maybe anybody can help debugging here. Please, take also note of the slightly corrected map of Scandinavia, now displaying all (remaining) schools.
