Hi Developers The Debian-Edu/Skolelinux-Sysadmin team called Drift[0] is pleased to make the following announcements.
[0]: http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/Teams The long term contributors Ronny Aasen and Steffen Joeris have been added to the sysadmin team. This team maintains all the skolelinux developer servers and the infrastructure behind Debian-Edu/Skolelinux and has "root" access to all the servers. You can reach the team via the team's mailing list[1]. If you have any problems you would like to report or request any new services for developers, feel free to send them to the team via email. [1]: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The Debian-Edu/Skolelinux host ghost.skolelinux.no is now available again to any Debian-Edu/Skolelinux developer. It was locked down due to the Debian openssl security announcement. This host is a Xen host running on tester.skolelinux.no. For more information on all the available servers, please see the wiki infrastructure page[2]. At the moment, ghost is open for general use and we are not yet sure, if it should take over other services, but we are open for any suggestions. [2]: http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/Infrastructure The Sysadmin team has reached consensus about a general account check of all developer accounts. Therefore, every developer will receive an email, in order to check whether they are still interested in their developer account. The barrier for keeping a developer account will likely be set very low. This check is done for security purposes.
