The test report from <URL:http://www.deviceguru.com.nyud.net:8080/2008/08/14/testing-debians-lenny-kde-beta/> indicate that the desktop experience in Lenny is already quite good. This is good news for Debian Edu. Yet, there is still lots of work to do before Debian Edu based on Lenny is ready to be released. LDAP updates, SSL certificate issues, web admin extentions, hal/consolekit integration, debconf question corrections, usplash not working, pxe install setup missing DVD, and several other issues are still unsolved.
