[Kurt Gramlich] > could someone please give me a hint, what could be wrong?
I assume you are downloading from cd-squeeze-test-dvd/, and had a look on the server to verfiy that the MD5SUMS file and the file itself matches: % cat MD5SUMS b9a93f24d587e1096a5cc616710d5d55 debian-504+edu1A-amd64-i386-DVD-1.iso % md5sum debian-edu-amd64-i386-DVD-1.iso b9a93f24d587e1096a5cc616710d5d55 debian-edu-amd64-i386-DVD-1.iso % They matches, so I assume it is correct on the server. It must be the download process that is the problem. Could the image you downloaded have been replaced while you downloaded it? Use rsync if that is the case to get the latest changes without downloading the entire image again. If you use HTTP to download, do not use Internet Explorer. It is unable to correctly download large files. Happy hacking, -- Petter Reinholdtsen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
