Well, it is a bug in Debian Edu that the problem is obscure and hard to debug. I guess the issue should be detected and reported in the face of the person trying to set up a new machine, instead of the machine silently failing to keep its IP address Traditionally it was required to register clients in GOsa to ensure home directories could be mounted, not for it to get an IP address. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
