My guess is that you need to specify the network interface using the % notation, something like this: ping6 fe80::aaaa:bbbb:cccc:dddd%eth0 Or did Linux fix the addressing of link local addresses to no longer need the interface included in the address? -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
